Three Suspects Face FBI Probe Over Alleged Voter Identity Theft in Los Angeles

The FBI is investigating three people accused of stealing the identities of registered voters and recruiting individuals on Los Angeles’ Skid Row to forge signatures in an alleged election fraud scheme.

FBI Director Kash Patel identified the suspects as James Brass, Jateisha Herron and Courtney Price.

According to the allegations outlined by Patel, the suspects obtained the identities of registered voters and paid people on Skid Row to produce forged signatures, which they allegedly attempted to pass off as authentic.

The FBI’s Los Angeles field office, working with law enforcement partners, is continuing to investigate the case and determine the full extent of the alleged scheme.

The investigation comes amid heightened scrutiny of voter registration and election processes in the United States, with federal authorities continuing efforts to detect and prevent potential fraud and other forms of election-related misconduct.

The allegations remain under investigation, and the suspects have not been established as guilty of the offences alleged.
