Barcelona captain Raphinha has matched a rare LaLiga scoring record previously achieved only by club great Lionel Messi this century.
The Brazilian winger struck in the 50th minute as Barcelona cruised to a 5-0 victory over Valencia on Sunday.
The goal took Raphinha’s tally to six in his first four league appearances of the season, putting him alongside Messi as the only Barcelona players to reach that mark in LaLiga this century.
Messi remains ahead after accomplishing the feat in consecutive campaigns during the 2012–13 and 2013–14 seasons.
Raphinha will now turn his attention to the UEFA Champions League, with Barcelona set to host Feyenoord on Wednesday.
