China head coach Wang Jun says his team is already focused on their next Group F fixture against Nigeria’s Falconets at the 2026 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup.
China made an impressive start to their campaign, defeating tournament debutants New Caledonia 5-0.
Huang Jiaxin led the scoring with a hat-trick, while Xiao Yafei and Zhou Xinyi added the other goals.
The Chinese side will face Nigeria in their second group match at Arena Sosnowiec on Thursday.
Jun says his players intend to rely on their pace to overcome the Falconets.
“In the next match, we will face Nigeria, and we will try to use our speed to win the match,” Jun told FIFA.com.
