Katsina United have strengthened their midfield with the acquisition of Suleiman Idris ahead of the new campaign.
The midfielder returns to Nigeria after spending the previous season with Armenian club West Armenia FC.
Idris joins the Katsina-based side after a proposed move to Israeli club Hapoel Afula fell through.
The midfielder is expected to add depth and quality to Katsina United’s midfield as they target a strong season.
Katsina United began their campaign with a 1-1 draw against defending champions Rangers.
