Super Eagles head coach Eric Chelle has appointed Bright Osehai Ozebagbe and Deniran Ortega to his coaching staff as assistants with the Nigeria U-23 team.
Ozebagbe currently serves as technical adviser of Ikorodu City, while Ortega is regarded as one of the country’s promising young coaches.
The UEFA-licensed Ortega, who received his coaching training from the Scottish Football Association, is also part of the coaching staff of the Flying Eagles.
The Olympic Eagles are expected to begin preparations in Abuja soon as they target qualification for the 2028 Olympic Games in Los Angeles.
Nigeria last featured in the men’s football event at the Olympics in 2016.
The team is scheduled to face either Mauritania or the Democratic Republic of Congo in the second round of the 2028 Olympic qualifying series in November.
