Real Madrid forward Kylian Mbappe has highlighted the winning mentality and leadership of the club’s new manager, Jose Mourinho.
Speaking to Realmadrid TV ahead of Real Madrid’s final pre-season friendly against Schalke on Sunday, the France captain praised Mourinho’s ability to lead players to success.
“We talked a lot during the World Cup, and he has spoken with me extensively,” Mbappe said of Mourinho.
“I arrived a few days ago, and I think it’s very positive to have a coach like him, someone who knows how to win and how to guide us towards victory.
“I think every player is delighted to have a coach who knows where he’s going, and that’s positive for us.”
