Afrobeats star Davido has alleged that his logistics manager, Israel DMW, was responsible for leaking one of his unreleased songs, forcing him to remove the track from an upcoming album.
The singer made the claim during a conversation captured in a video that has since gained traction on social media.
Explaining why the song was never officially released, Davido said he decided to exclude it from his project after it was allegedly circulated online.
According to the singer, Israel DMW repeatedly played the song despite being warned against doing so.
“Israel spoiled the song. Israel was over playing it. I warned him not to play it again, but two days after the warning, he now posted it online. I saw a video of him dancing with a towel while vibing to it online,” Davido said.
The singer did not disclose the title of the unreleased track or provide further details about when the incident occurred.
The allegation comes amid ongoing speculation on social media about the state of Davido’s relationship with Israel DMW. However, neither Davido nor Israel DMW has publicly addressed the rumours beyond the singer’s comments in the trending video.
