Samuel Chukwueze featured in a new position during AC Milan’s first training session under newly appointed manager Ruben Amorim on Monday.
The Nigerian winger was used as a right-sided wing-back in a four-man midfield setup, a role similar to the one Amad Diallo played under Amorim during his time at Manchester United.
Chukwueze spent last season on loan at Fulham, where he recorded three goals and four assists in 25 appearances.
The 27-year-old has now been handed an opportunity to impress at San Siro, but he will need to adjust quickly to the new tactical demands to secure the manager’s confidence.
