Iran’s Revolutionary Guards Threaten Netanyahu, Security Raids Intensify Over Alleged Israeli Links
Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps has issued a fresh threat against Benjamin Netanyahu, declaring that it will continue to pursue the Israeli leader as hostilities involving Iran, Israel and the United States enter a new phase.
In a statement published by Sepah News, the media platform linked to the Revolutionary Guards, the group described Netanyahu as a “child-killing criminal” and vowed sustained action against him.
“If this child-killing criminal is alive, we will continue to pursue and kill him with full force,” the statement said.
The latest threat comes amid heightened military and political tensions across the region following the outbreak of war that began on February 28, after joint U.S.–Israeli strikes targeted senior Iranian leadership and strategic military facilities, an operation that Iranian state media said led to the death of former Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei.
Iran has since appointed Mojtaba Khamenei as the country’s new supreme leader, while military exchanges and retaliatory strikes have continued across the region.
Meanwhile, Iranian authorities have intensified internal security operations, arresting at least 20 people in the country’s northwestern region over alleged links to Israel.
According to local reports, the arrests were carried out during coordinated raids in West Azerbaijan Province, where security agencies said the suspects were linked to networks accused of supplying sensitive information to Israeli operatives.
Provincial prosecutor Hossein Majidi, quoted by local media, said those arrested were accused of transmitting details of military, security, and law enforcement locations to what Iranian authorities described as the “Zionist enemy.”
Authorities say the latest arrests are part of wider nationwide operations that have seen hundreds detained in recent days over suspected collaboration with Israel and the United States as Tehran tightens internal security amid the ongoing conflict.
