Davido Reacts to Uncle Governor Adeleke’s Resignation from PDP with Cryptic ‘Jeje…’ Post

Renowned Afrobeats star Davido has reacted to his uncle, Osun Governor Ademola Adeleke’s resignation from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), posting a succinct “Jeje…” on his X page.
Governor Adeleke, who previously served as Senator representing Osun West and now governs the state, formally announced his exit from the PDP in a letter dated November 4, 2025. He cited a crisis within the party’s national leadership as the reason for his resignation.
The resignation letter, titled “Resignation of my membership of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP),” stated: “Due to the current crisis of the national leadership of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), I hereby resign my Membership of the People’s Democratic Party with immediate effect.”
Adeleke expressed appreciation to the party for the platform it provided him, saying, “I thank the Peoples Democratic Party for the opportunities given to me for my elections as a Senator (Represented Osun West) and as Governor of Osun State under the People’s Democratic Party.”
The governor’s decision has ignited political speculation in Osun State, with Davido’s brief social media reaction fueling discussions about the potential implications of Adeleke’s departure on both family dynamics and party politics.
