Hakimi, meanwhile, was instrumental in Paris Saint-Germain’s treble-winning campaign, securing the UEFA Champions League, Ligue 1, and the French Cup.
Guirassy impressed for Borussia Dortmund, contributing notably to their Champions League and FIFA Club World Cup runs. He notably scored in the knockout round against Real Madrid.
The 2025 Ballon d’Or shortlist was unveiled by France Football, the award’s organizers, and was compiled by prominent journalists from around the globe.
