Manchester United have officially announced that their promising young defender, Habeeb Ogunneye, will spend the 2025/2026 season on loan at League Two side Newport County.
The club shared the news in a statement published on their official website on Tuesday.
Ogunneye has been a standout performer within Manchester United’s Academy setups over recent years.
The 19-year-old right-back has featured prominently in competitions such as the Premier League 2, EFL Trophy, UEFA Youth League, and FA Youth Cup.
Although Ogunneye has yet to make his senior competitive debut for Manchester United, he did feature in a pre-season friendly against Rosenberg in Norway last summer.
