Charles Idibia Raises Alarm Over 2Baba’s Relationship, Alleges Emotional Manipulation

Charles Idibia, the younger brother of Nigerian music icon 2Baba, has publicly called on the singer to “wake up,” accusing his current partner, Natasha Osawaru, of manipulation and control.

In a lengthy and emotionally charged Instagram post, Charles praised 2Baba for his calm nature and resilience, even likening him to a “modern-day Jesus” for enduring criticism and avoiding confrontation.

Charles claimed that the legendary singer is trapped in a toxic relationship that’s taken a toll on his mental and emotional well-being. According to the post, Osawaru is allegedly behind a pattern of invasive behavior, including accessing 2Baba’s personal devices, interfering with his communications, and isolating him from his business and support network.

“She has convinced you to abandon your management and businesses in Lagos and move to Abuja,” Charles wrote, describing it as a move that has turned the artist into “arm candy” and dragged him into circles he wouldn’t normally associate with.

Among the accusations, Charles alleged that Osawaru:

• Gained access to 2Baba’s phone to announce a divorce
• Posted and deleted content from his social media without consent
• Cloned his WhatsApp and impersonated him in messages
• Manipulated his business decisions and sabotaged work opportunities
• Misrepresented herself as his wife despite no legal marriage

Charles expressed deep concern for his brother’s well-being, saying the singer is not only being misled but is also sacrificing his peace for the sake of the relationship.

“It can never be a crime to save yourself,” Charles urged. “You haven’t moved on—you’ve been captured.”

While neither 2Baba nor Natasha Osawaru has publicly responded to the claims, the post has sparked widespread conversation online, drawing concern from fans and celebrities alike.
