Nigeria’s Flying Eagles have kicked off their preparations for the WAFU B U-20 Nations Cup.
Head coach Aliyu Zubairu has included the majority of players who featured at the 2025 Africa U-20 Cup of Nations in his current squad.
The regional tournament will play a crucial role in the team’s build-up to the 2025 FIFA U-20 World Cup.
The Flying Eagles are placed in Group A alongside tournament hosts Ghana and Benin Republic.
Zubairu’s team will open their campaign against Ghana on Thursday, 10 July. They will then take on Benin Republic in their second group match three days later.
Group B consists of Niger Republic, Togo, Ivory Coast, and Burkina Faso.
