Tinubu, You Are Incapable” — Falz Slams President Over Benue Killings

Nigerian rapper and activist Falz has harshly criticized President Bola Tinubu over the recent mass killings in Benue State, accusing him of failing his most basic duty as a leader — protecting the lives and property of citizens.

In a powerful post on X dated June 16, 2025, Falz voiced his deep frustration with what he called a recurring pattern of government negligence amid rising insecurity across Nigeria.

“You have consistently shown that you are incapable of performing the primary duty of securing the lives and property of your citizens. This routine statement does not cut it,” Falz wrote.

His condemnation comes amid nationwide outrage over the massacre of more than 200 people in Benue State, believed to be linked to attacks by suspected herdsmen. The violence has sparked widespread condemnation from Nigerians and prominent figures in the entertainment industry.

After facing criticism online for perceived silence on the crisis, President Tinubu responded on X, declaring, “Enough is enough.”

In his statement, the president said, “I have been briefed on the senseless bloodletting in Benue State. Enough is enough! I have directed security agencies to act decisively, arrest perpetrators of these evil acts on all sides of the conflict, and prosecute them.”
