The Nigeria National League (NNL) has unveiled the standout performers for the months of April and May 2025.
Valentine Ugwu of Solution FC emerged as the Most Valuable Player, while Edel FC’s Gukut Chindi claimed the Highest Goal Scorer award. Warri Wolves took two major honors, with Efevwerha Joke named Best Goalkeeper and Napoleon Aluma awarded Best Coach.
Sokoto United earned recognition as the Best Behaved Team, and Shamsu Mohammed was celebrated for scoring the Goal of the Month.
The official awards ceremony is scheduled for Wednesday, June 18, at the West Point Hotel in Wuse Zone 7, Abuja.
According to the NNL organizers, the awards aim to encourage sportsmanship, recognize talent, and promote excellence across the league.
Meanwhile, the Southern Conference A and B is set to conclude this weekend.
The teams that have secured their places in the Super Eight playoff tournament include Kun Khalifa FC, Crown FC, Wikki Tourists, Barau FC, Yobe Desert Stars, Doma United, and Warri Wolves.
