Rema’s ‘Charm’ Goes Platinum in France, Marking Another Career Milestone

Rema continues to make waves internationally, as his hit single ‘Charm’ has officially been certified platinum in France by SNEP, the country’s official music certification body.
Originally released as part of his debut album ‘Rave & Roses’, ‘Charm’ becomes Rema’s third track to achieve platinum status in France, following the success of ‘Soundgasm’ and ‘Dumebi’. It also marks his fourth overall certification in the country, with his global smash hit ‘Calm Down’ already earning a prestigious diamond certification—one of only nine songs to ever do so.
This latest accolade further cements Rema’s place as one of Afrobeats’ leading global ambassadors. With four SNEP certifications to his name, he stands among the most decorated Nigerian artists in France, second only to Burna Boy, who holds nine.
Rema is set to headline the iconic 20,000-capacity Accor Arena in Paris as part of his ongoing ‘HEIS’ tour, which has seen him perform at major venues worldwide, including a landmark show at Madison Square Garden.
2025 has already proven to be a standout year for the superstar. Earlier, he earned his first Grammy nomination for Best Global Album with his sophomore project ‘HEIS’, and he’s also up for Best International Act at the 2025 BET Awards. At the 17th Headies Awards, Rema secured 11 nominations and took home two wins—Best Afrobeats Album and Best Album.
With each achievement, Rema continues to elevate Afrobeats on the global stage.
