Coventry City, Sheffield United, Bristol City, and Sunderland have secured their places in the Championship play-offs, as confirmed following the conclusion of the regular season on Saturday.
Blackburn Rovers, Millwall, and Middlesbrough narrowly missed out on a top-six finish despite a tense final round of matches.
Coventry clinched their spot with a 2-0 home victory over Middlesbrough, thanks to a brace from Jack Rudoni. Bristol City came from behind to draw 2-2 with Preston at Ashton Gate, with Ross McCrorie netting twice.
Blackburn briefly moved into the top six when Yuki Ohashi opened the scoring against Sheffield United, but Anel Ahmedhodzic’s equaliser for the Blades left Rovers just short in a 1-1 draw.
