
The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has unveiled the schedule and venues for the 2025 U-20 Africa Cup of Nations. The tournament is set to take place in Egypt from April 27 to May 18, 2025, featuring 13 teams competing for continental glory and qualification spots for the FIFA U-20 World Cup.
The competition will follow a three-group format, with Group A containing five teams, while Groups B and C each feature four teams. The top two teams from each group, along with the two best third-placed teams, will advance to the quarter-finals.
Defending champions Senegal are placed in Group C alongside Zambia, Kenya, and Sierra Leone, promising a fiercely contested group stage.
CAF has expressed confidence in Egypt’s ability to host a successful tournament, citing the country’s experience and infrastructure.
