Tinubu Expected Back in Nigeria Today – Presidency 

 

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is set to return to Nigeria today after a nearly two-week overseas trip. This was confirmed by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, via a post on his X (formerly Twitter) account.

The President’s trip included engagements with international partners and participation in high-level discussions on economic cooperation and security. Details of the meetings and agreements reached are expected to be disclosed upon his return.

During his absence, Vice President Kashim Shettima oversaw the day-to-day affairs of the government, ensuring continuity in governance and policy implementation.

Nigerians anticipate that President Tinubu’s return will usher in renewed focus on pressing national issues, including economic reforms, infrastructure development, and security enhancements.

The Presidency has scheduled a press briefing to provide updates on the outcomes of the President’s trip and to outline the administration’s next steps in addressing national challenges.
