Leeds United Crowned Championship Champions After Late Win Over Plymouth

Leeds United have clinched the Championship title after a dramatic 2-1 victory over Plymouth on the final day of the season, edging Burnley on goal difference.
Daniel Farke’s side needed to at least match Burnley’s result to secure the title, and they did so with a late winner from Manor Solomon at Home Park. An own goal by Sam Byram had initially put Plymouth ahead, but Leeds hit back through Wilfried Gnonto—scoring in his third consecutive match—before Solomon sealed the win in the closing stages.
Despite Burnley’s commanding 3-1 home win over Millwall—featuring goals from Mihailo Ivanovic, Josh Brownhill, and Jaidon Anthony—the Clarets were forced to settle for second place with 100 points, finishing the season unbeaten in 33 games, having lost only twice and conceded just 16 goals overall.
