“Would You Raise Your Kids in Nigeria?” – Falz Responds with Candid Reflection

During a recent interview, the host posed a thought-provoking question to Nigerian rapper and activist Falz: “Would you raise your children in Nigeria if you were going to have any?”
Caught off guard, Falz responded honestly:
“Wow, that’s a deep question. I wasn’t expecting that. Honestly, I haven’t thought that far ahead.”
He continued, reflecting on the complexities of the situation:
“I can’t confidently say ‘yes’ not with everything going on right now. We’re talking about insecurity, the risks that come with my activism, and, frankly, the general apathy among many Nigerians.”
Despite his concerns, Falz made it clear he hasn’t completely ruled out the idea.
“It’s sad, but I also can’t say ‘no’ outright. I’m deeply pro-Nigeria. I genuinely believe we can get it right as a nation. So, I don’t know… we’ll see,” he said with a laugh.
As of now, Falz remains single and has not yet started a family, but his answer sheds light on the difficult decisions many Nigerians face when considering the future for the next generation.
