Women’s World Cup: Banyana Banyana to play against Germany on Monday

South Africa’s Banyana Banyana will face a do-or-die match against Germany at the Fifa Women’s World Cup at the Stade de la Mosson in Montpellier on Monday night.

South Africa lost their first two matches to Spain and China and now need a victory over the two-time world champions to qualify for the last-16 round.

Meanwhile, the Super Falcons of Nigeria are also looking for a last-16 qualification as they play hosts France in Rennes.

The 2019 Women’s World Cup kicked off last Friday with 24 teams in the race to be crowned “queens” of the game over the month-long tournament in France.
