Shettima, during his visit to the SecureID Smartcard and Digital Solutions Facility in Lagos on Monday to celebrate the company’s 20th anniversary, commended the organization for its outstanding two-decade legacy of excellence in smartcard manufacturing and digital solutions.
He praised SecureID Ltd for its transformation from a small local startup to a continental powerhouse in digital technology, manufacturing up to 200 million cards annually, including Nigerian international passports and voter identification cards.
The Vice President described SecureID’s journey as a shining example of Nigeria’s industrial and technological potential, highlighting the company’s ability to compete on a global scale and contribute significantly to the country’s economic development.
