In some parts of the State like Bariga, there was low voters turnout at first but the number began increasing. In Shomolu however, the numbers of voters since inception was really high.

There are 6.5 million registered voters for the election and the electoral commission said COVID-19 protocols will be strictly adhered to during the election.

The commission has said that it may transmit the results of the election electronically on its website once votes are counted.
