Opposition Peoples Democratic Party has urged President Muhammadu Buhari to resign from office, following what it described as the official admission that Buhari does not possess a WAEC certificate.

National spokesperson of the party, Kola Ologbondiyan made the demand on behalf of the PDP  in reaction to what he called, the official admission that Buhari does not possess a WAEC certificate.

The demand was triggered by a video trending on social media where Minister of information and Culture, Lai Mohammed said president Buhari should be pardoned for misplacing his WAEC certificate.

Though the presidency has reacted to the video, saying it dates back to 2015, the opposition party still insists President Buhari is not qualified to rule the country.

Ologbondiyan has now urge the presidential election petitions tribunal to take into cognizance the development and deliver its judgement accordingly.
