A British parliamentary committee has criticised the government’s recent asylum policy saying the plan does not feasible.
The British government while reeling out the plan had explained that it will stop dangerous journeys and migrants trying to migrate into the country illegally.
However, the cross-party committee has countered the claims saying the ministers were only putting forward “quick fix solutions”.
the committee maintained that there was no evidence that sending migrants to Rwanda would deter people from crossing the Channel in small boats.
Britain announced in April an agreement with Rwanda to send some migrants there but no one has yet been flown out because of a series of legal challenges.
