TV360’s Aneta Felix shortlisted for West Africa Media Award


TV360’s Senior Reporter Aneta Felix has been shortlisted for the 2019 edition of the West Africa Media Excellence Awards.

Felix is one of 21 journalists, from six West African countries selected for the awards.

The 21 shortlisted candidates were picked from 724 entries received from journalists in over 15 countries.

The award ceremony is scheduled to hold on October 19 in Accra, Ghana.

Other shortlisted journalists from Nigeria are Cletus Ukpong; Premuium times, Odinaka Anudu, Business Day; Tobore Ovuorie, The Nation; Kunle Adebajo, International Centre for Investigative Reporting (ICIR); and Tunde Ajaja, Punch.

Journalists selected from Ghana include; Edward Adeti of Starr FM, Beryl Richter, Joy News, Timothy Ngnenbe of Graphic Online; Seth Boateng, Joy News; Nabil Rufai, GHOne TV; Emmanuel Dogbevi, ICIJ/Cenozo; Justice Baidoo, Joy News; and Emmanuel Debrah, Joy News.

Eight other journalists were also chosen from Burkina Faso, Cote D’Ivoire and Senegal.

All finalists will receive a Certificate of Merit while ultimate winners will receive plaques, certificates and cash prizes.
