Troops rescue two more kidnapped Chibok girls in Borno state


The Defence Headquarters has expressed confidence that the Military activities in the South South geo-political zone will ultimately further reduce the activities of oil thieves in the country.

According to the Director, Defence Media Operations, Major General Benard Onyeuko in Abuja, the conduct of Operation OCTOPUS GRIP within the last two weeks has enabled the recovery of over Two Billion Naira worth of crude oil and illegally refined Automotive Oil Gas from the economic saboteurs.

Onyeuko confirmed that within the past two weeks,  two more kidnapped Chibok girls were rescued in Borno State, while a total of 2,016 suspected Boko Haram Terrorists and ISWAP terrorists and their families surrendered to the Military.
