With the summer transfer window set to close at midnight on Monday, Chelsea are actively working to offload Jackson and have received interest from Bayern Munich, Newcastle United, and Aston Villa.

Talks between Chelsea and Bayern are reportedly at an advanced stage, with the Bundesliga champions prepared to cover the Senegalese forward’s wages in full. However, according to Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea are holding off on finalizing the deal until there is clarity around Isak’s situation.

Isak is currently on strike at Newcastle in an effort to push through a move to Liverpool. Chelsea are closely watching how that unfolds, as Newcastle’s next move could impact Jackson’s future. The Blues are hopeful that Eddie Howe’s side may shift their attention toward Jackson and potentially submit a permanent transfer bid.

Until then, Chelsea are reluctant to accept Bayern’s current loan offer, as they continue to assess all options in the final days of the window.

Jackson is one of five players expected to leave the Blues in the coming weeks. Chelsea have already brought in two attacking reinforcements — Joao Pedro and Liam Delap — to intensify competition within manager Enzo Maresca’s squad.

Since arriving from Villarreal, the Senegal international has faced criticism for his performances in the Premier League.

In a separate development, Real Madrid and head coach Xabi Alonso are reportedly open to the possibility of parting ways with Brazilian winger Rodrygo.

Although Rodrygo has expressed his desire to remain at the club, Alonso and his technical team are said to be unconvinced by his contributions. The former Santos forward saw limited action during the recent FIFA Club World Cup under Alonso’s leadership.
