Suspected hoodlums invade Sen. Folarin’s Ibadan residence, loot properties


Suspected hoodlums has burgled the Oluyole residence of the representative of Central senatorial district in the National Assembly, Senator Teslim Folarin, located at Oluyole Estate, Ibadan.

According to reports, the hoodlums shattered the entrance doors and windows of the apartment carting away some of the senator’s personal belongings.

Confirming the incident during an interview on a radio programme, Folarin revealed that  no fewer than 300 motorcycles, deep freezers, and food items, which were meant for the empowerment of his constituents, were looted.

He however added that he was relieved and grateful that no life was lost.

The Senator did not confirm if the matter had been reported to the police or not.

Also confirming the incident, Police Public Relations Officer, Oyo State Command,Olugbenga Fadeyi made it known that the matter is being investigated.

He added that the detail on the circumstance surrounding the incident shall be revealed after investigations has been concluded.
