The Inspector General of Police (IGP), Mohammed Adamu, on Wednesday ordered the arrest of the senator Elisha Abbo representing Adamawa North who assaulted a woman in a sex-toy shop in Abuja.

The Police IGP gave this order following the reactions that trailed the video which has since gone viral on social media.

The Police have now set up an investigative team to investigate the senator and his orderly in the force headquaters in Abuja.

The Police however assured that it is doing everything within their powers to restore dignity to the force.
