SERAP holds dialogue to promote citizen led accountability in Lagos state


The Socio-Economic Rights and Accountability Project SERAP in collaboration with the U-ropean Union’s Actions for Citizen Driven Transformation EU-ACT, has held a dialogue to promote social protection policy in Lagos State.

The session which was held in Lagos on Monday, aims to share and discuss findings of the latest report on the analysis of Lagos State social protection policy.

While presenting the report, the chairman board of trustees of the Lagos Civil Society Participation for Development Ayo Ade-busoye explained that the policy will provide support for distressed families, social insurance as well as market interventions among others.

He further advocated legal backing from the legislature to implement already existing laws to tackle some of the challenges.
