Meanwhile security experts have urged the federal government to take seriously the threat of the ISWAP and Boko Haram members to launch targeted attacks on Lagos and other parts of the country.

In an earlier interview with TV360 Nigeria, Dennis Amachree, the former Deputy Director, Department of State Services, advised the Lagos state government to activate its surveillance system.

He added that sensitization of residents is also crucial to successfully repel all terrorist attacks.
