Rivers Angels confirm Spanish club’s offers for Oluehi, Nwabuoku

Nigeria’s Rivers Angels, have confirmed that Spanish Reto Iberdrola club Pozoalbense have approached them over the transfer of Super Falcons duo, Evelyn Nwabuoku and Tochukwu Oluehi.

The confirmation comes less than two weeks after the country’s Women’s Football League champions, denied the sale of the duo to the Spanish club.

Pozoalbense had announced the purchase of Nwabuoku and Oluehi, but the reports were debunked as Angels described the news as “misleading and inaccurate.”

The Nigerian champions stated that neither Pozoalbense nor their agents contacted them over the sale of the female national team players.

However, in a tweet on Sunday, Angels confirmed offers had been made for the services of the duo.

“This is to inform our esteemed followers and general public that @cdpozoalbensefe have officially contacted us and we are in talks with them for the transfer of Tochukwu Oluehi and Evelyn Nwabuoku in the coming days,” the club tweeted.
