The priest and Spiritual Director of the Adoration Ministry, Rev. Fr. Ejike Mbaka, has resurfaced in public.
Earlier, there had been protests in Enugu state by members of the Adoration faithful over the alleged disappearance of the priest who has been in the news recently after calling for President Muhammadu Buhari’s resignation.
The protests reportedly began after members of the church gathered fir their usual church programme on Wednesday and it was announced that the whereabouts of the priest was unknown.
The Ohaneze Ndigbo Youths Council also released a statement raising an alarm over Mbaka’s disappearance.
According to the protesters, Mbaka was last seen on Monday.
Following the protests, the Department of State Services (DSS) denied holding the clergy in its custody.
However, some hours into the protest, Mbaka showed up in the midst of the protesters in a Toyota Rav4 car to the excitement of the protesters and parishioners.
