Reprisal attacks: MTN shuts down Stores, Service Centres

Telecom giant, MTN has shutdown all stores and services centre in Nigeria until further notice.

In a statement released on Wednesday, Uto Ukpana Scretary to the company said the safety of Customers, staff and partners is MTNs primary concern, hence what necessitated the decision.

The statement however reaffirmed MTNs commitment to providing uninterrupted services to Nigerians.

The development is coming hours after an MTN office was reportedly set ablaze by irate youths in Ibadan, while other offices of the company in various locations was also attacked by angry youths.
