Real Oviedo Enter Talks to Sign Zaidu Sanusi Amid Porto Transfer Dispute

Spanish side Real Oviedo are currently engaged in negotiations to acquire the services of Super Eagles defender Zaidu Sanusi.

Sanusi finds himself low in the pecking order at Portuguese outfit FC Porto, prompting speculation about a possible transfer this summer.

Reports from Portuguese media outlet A Bola reveal that Porto have already declined Real Oviedo’s proposal to secure the left-back on a free transfer basis.

With two years remaining on his contract, FC Porto are unwilling to terminate the agreement prematurely.

Instead, the club is demanding financial compensation from Oviedo to approve the transfer.

The 28-year-old defender featured in only six matches for Porto during the previous season.
