President Buhari postpones London trip


President Muhammadu Buhari has postponed his  medical follow-up trip to the United Kingdom earlier scheduled for today, Friday, June 25, 2021.

This was made known in short statement by the President’s Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina.

The statement noted that a new date will be announced in due course.

Adesina in another statement  had earlier  announced that the President’s trip to London was for a scheduled medical follow-up saying he would be back in the country during the second week of July.

The trip is coming almost three months since President last visited the United Kingdom for the same purpose when he travelled to the UK on March 30.

He however returned to the country on April 15, at the end of the trip which lasted more than two weeks.
