President Muhammadu Buhari, on Wednesday, met with King Charles III at the Buckingham Palace in the United Kingdom.
The meeting between the two leaders is the first since the ascension of King Charles III to the throne.
While the reason for the meeting was not clear, both leaders expectedly discussed bilateral relations and how the United Kingdom can help Nigeria in the fight against terrorism.
President Buhari had travelled to the United Kingdom for medical checkup on October 31.
Meanwhile, before Wednesday’s meeting, both leaders communicated with each other when the monarch wrote to President Buhari sympathising with him over the devastating floods that have killed hundreds and displaced millions in the the country.
