Peter Obi emerges Labour Party Presidential Candidate

Former Anambra State Governor, Peter Obi, has emerged as the presidential candidate of the Labour Party ahead of the 2023 general elections.

His emergence as the party’s flagbearer follows his victory at the presidential primary of the Labour Party.

Earlier at the party’s convention, Professor Pat Utomi who was also a presidential aspirant on the platform of the party stepped down for Obi.

During his address, Utomi explained that he made the decision to step down because Obi is a younger aspirant with the capacity to effect the needed change in the Nigerian system.
