Owo church attack: Punishment for suspects will send strong message – babangida


The assailants linked to the terror attack on the Saint Francis Catholic Church in Owo have been arrested.

The Chief of Defence Staff, General Lucky Irabor disclosed this on Tuesday during a meeting with editors and media executives in Abuja.

Irabor said the suspects would be paraded after an investigation had been concluded into the matter.

While speaking on the development, the Ondo state governor, Rotimi Akeredolu also confirmed the arrest of five of the killers of worshippers at St Francis Catholic Church in Owo, Ondo state.

He added that security operatives are on the trail of others.
