Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo has tested negative for the coronavirus.
This was revealed by the Special Adviser to the President on Political Matters, Senator Babafemi Ojudu on his verified twitter handle.
Ojudu, however, did not say when the test was conducted.
Osinbajo had been on self-isolation since Monday evening on the advice of the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) following reports the Chief of Staff to the President, Abba Kyari and thee of his staff tested positive for the coronavirus.
As of Wednesday morning, the total confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Nigeria was 46 with two discharged and one death.
