Nurses working in the University of Medical Sciences Teaching Hospital, Ondo State have staged a protest decrying the non-payment of their salaries by the state government.

The nurses shunned their duty posts to protest on the premises of the hospital complex.

They have alleged that the government was owed them five to six months salary arrears.

Some of them complained that the government was not taking their welfare seriously calling on the governor, Rotimi Akeredolu, to look into their matter.

Same governor Rotimi Akeredolu, still wants to continue to loot and steal our state resources for self enrichment as he appoints an Imo State origin, as chief of staff, in Ondo State governor’s office. Governor Rotimi Akeredolu, fails to find any suitable ONdo State son and daughter, to fill the position of chief of staff but an Igbo from Imo State as his chief of staff, because his wife hails from Imo STate.
