Delta state governor, Ifeanyi Okowa, says he and members of his family have all recovered from COVID-19.
Okowa, contracted the disease alongside his wife two weeks ago, and shared the news of his recovery via his Twitter handle on Tuesday.
Okowa and his wife tested positive for the novel coronavirus about five days after their daughter contracted the disease.
He appealed to residents of Delta to abide by all guidelines aimed at curbing the spread of the virus.
