League Management Company (LMC) have announced a five-year multi-million-naira contract with Next TV for the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL).
This was disclosed by the Chairman of the LMC, Shehu Dikko at the annual general meeting of the company held in Abuja on Wednesday.
Dikko said the contract would see the league on TV as well as other multiple sponsors to make the NPFL commercially viable.
The value of the deal would be officially announced at an unveiling ceremony which will be held soon.
Also during the meeting, the LMC approved reforms in the general administration of the Nigerian football system and its framework to make the league competitive and attractive.
