President Muhammadu Buhari has summoned a National Security Council meeting in Abuja.
This comes barely twenty-four hours after senators from opposition parties issued a six-week ultimatum to President Muhammadu Buhari to tackle the security challenges bedevilling the country
Speaking to state house correspondents at the close of the meeting at the Presidential Villa in Abuja, the National Security Adviser, Babagana Monguno said new strategies will be implemented to address the fast-spreading insecurity and terrorist attacks.
He also disclosed that Nigerians are growing “tired” of the menace and are now turning to self-help.
