Nigerian troops rescue abducted chibok girl and her baby in Borno state


The Defence Headquarters has announced the safe return of Mary Dauda, one of the Chibok girls abducted in April 14, 2014 from Government Secondary School, Chibok, in Borno State by Boko Haram Terrorists.

Dauda and her child were rescued by the Nigerian Military and other Security Agencies on clearance operation at Ngoshe, Borno State.

The Director, Defence Media Operations, Major General Benard Onyeuko who confirmed this during a briefing in Abuja added that at least 57,000 Boko Haram Terrorists and their families have so far surrendered to Nigerian Troops.

Onyeuko also confirmed the arrests of a high profile ISWAP Commander, Abba Yunus also known as Mallam Abba and his accomplice involved in a planned attack in Kumbosto Local Government Area of Kano State.
