Airports in Nigeria will reopen for international flights beginning on August 29.
This was disclosed by the minister of aviation, Hadi Sirika in a tweet on Monday.
He tweeted, “Glad to announce the resumption of international flights from the August 29, 2020 beginning with Lagos and Abuja as we did with the domestic flight resumption.
“Protocols and procedures will be announced in due course. We thank you for your patience.”
It’s been five months since the Nigerian government shut down its airport for both local and international flight except for essential services.
