Nigeria records lowest COVID 19 infection since April, 2020

Nigeria on Sunday recorded 26 new Coronavirus infections, the lowest daily figure recorded since April 15, 2020, when Nigeria recorded 11 infections.

Sunday’s tally brings the total number of infections in Nigeria to 164,233.

According to the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, the 26 fresh cases were reported from 6 states. Ebonyi State leads with 10 cases, followed by Lagos and FCT with 9 and 2 cases respectively.

Others are: Kano (2), Osun (2), and Oyo (1)

Sunday also became the sixth consecutive day that Nigeria recorded no daily fatality from the virus, keeping the death tally at 2,061.
